iPROM je skupaj z raziskovalno družbo Valicon med 10. in 14. septembrom izvedel spletno anketo na temo letošnjih parlamentarnih volitev, ki je pokazala, da sta internet in televizija v primerjavi z letom 2004 najbolj povečala svoj vpliv na odločitev volivcev in volivk. 45 odstotkov uporabnikov interneta je odgovorilo, da internet veliko bolj vpliva na njihovo odločitev kot pred štirimi leti, za televizijo pa tako meni 40 odstotkov vprašanih.
Skoraj tri četrtine uporabnikov spleta sicer ni obiskalo nobene od uradnih spletnih strani strank kandidatk na parlamentarnih volitvah.
