V prvem četrtletju 2008 je dostop do interneta imelo 59 % gospodinjstev (50 % gospodinjstev prek širokopasovne povezave). Internet je v tem obdobju uporabljalo 58 % oseb v starosti od 10 do 74 let. Povečuje se tudi delež oseb, ki nakupujejo po internetu. Internetni nakup je v prvem četrtletju letos opravilo 11 % ljudi, v enakem obdobju lansko leto pa 9%.
